The first clock on the site was built in the 14th century, the second in the 16th century, and the current third clock was built in 1843. It is one of the largest stand alone clocks in the world, standing 60 feet tall.
The clock features a planetary calendar, which shows the current positions of the sun and moon, and a mechanical rooster. Every day at 12:30 the rooster crows and apostles move around the clock.
